Preparing a Vermicomposting bed for red wigglers. Three beds were created for the middle grade classrooms. Students will record the amount of vegetable and fruit scraps earthworms can eat up from breakfast leftovers. The frequency and volume of scraps students feed the worms will depend on temperature, amount of waste, and amount of worms in bins.

Girls can build their own GrowLab! No Problem!
